I made a very quick and easy Christmas Stocking for Michael the week prior to the holiday. We all have our own made from a victorian pattern I got from a Better Homes and Gardens book (will have to do a little research to see if I can find the book on Amazon or something to provide a link) but I didn’t want to try and pull that one off in the time alloted when I decided to make one for M.
So I went online and did a quick search for available patterns before finding a very simple and fast (and free) crochet pattern from Lion Brand (you’ll need to register). As you can see, I made a few little modifications (I used cotton yarn because that’s what all of ours are made in, used blue and white yarn and did not make the little tree motif but instead just put easy little criss cross snowflakes on it which ended up looking a bit like a starry night instead…) to their idea, but nothing too drastic. The pattern itself remains unchanged.

It was just nice to have something finished for a change. So tired of the UFO’s.
