Learned to crochet by purchasing a Crochet! magazine (at least I think that’s what it was called) in 1986 and a few hooks and some yarn after wandering Michael’s for an hour or so and poring through pattern books and magazines until I found something I wanted to make for my best friend’s wedding. It was an afghan marked “difficult” and included just about every stitch out there. Somewhere around here I have a photo album with a picture of the finished project and if/when I find it I’ll upload it to my flickr site.
